X Factor 2012: Wardrobe Watch

Today we`ll have a blog post by Catherine, a friend from U.K. about the X Factor Wardrobe. The article belongs to her and it`s her own opinion.

" As the much-anticipated live shows approach, the time has come for yet another round of X Factor hopefuls to take centre stage in living rooms across the country. Year upon year, the public wait with baited breath to find out what the new stars of Saturday night television are going to be wearing as they undergo an image overhaul from the show’s backstage stylists. In the past we’ve literally seen everything, from the absolutely fabulous to the downright tacky – will we ever be able to forget Johnny Robinson’s silver PVC suit from last year?

This year’s bunch is already a little different from their predecessors in that most of the contestants already seem to have a very distinct style. In the groups, MK1 definitely lead in the fashion stakes, with their pristine hip-hop look complementing their gritty raps and acoustic sound. In the girl’s category, there are already major variations, with Lucy Spraggan opting for a more casual get-up, whilst Ella Henderson mixes neo-hippy vibes with 60s inspired hair and make-up.

Of course, there is one contestant who stands out from the crowd: Rylan Clark. After bravely donning an outfit that left us open-mouthed at the judge’s houses, there’s no doubt that Rylan’s wardrobe is set to become a weekly talking point for fans of the show. When asked what it actually was that he was wearing during his final chance to impress new judge Nicole Scherzinger, Rylan could only respond with what everyone else was thinking – “I have no idea!” It wasn’t clear whether the bubbly Essex chap had cinched a hoodie at the waist or if he’d just been shopping at Very.co.uk’s Halloween store.

This year, the show’s producers are reportedly planning to let the acts have more control over how their images change over the course of the show, amid concerns that previous contestants were mentored more on how they looked than how they sang. Hopefully, this won’t detract from the inevitable fashion faux pas that the public have come to expect. So far, the X Factor has acted as the platform for an impressive colection of iconic disasters and the PVC monster has attacked annually – Johnny, Jedward and Kitty being the most memorable in the shiny, plastic hall of fame."

RBR Eyeshadow Keepers can store 2 or 3 eyeshadows, accordingly to what you chose, a duo or a trio. The eyshadows are glued on the base through a magnet. You can make your own selection of shades. The Eyeshadow Keeper contains a mirror and a little sponge brush. It is perfect for traveling cause it is small and chic. Its price is 14 euro.

Long Lasting Eye Shadow Refill

Those mono eyeshadows are fitting perfectly in the keeper and you can chose any selection of colors. The price is 17 euro.

I am very satisfied with the products and I thank RBR for offering me the chance to try them. Certainly I will buy some other of their products in the future. I prefer the quality over the quantity.
