The 8 - Hour Diet

David Zinczenko and Peter Moore claim in their book 'The 8-Hour Diet: Watch the Pounds Disappear Without Watching What You Eat!' that by only eating within an eight-hour period for three days a week the pounds will drop off. 

For years we’ve been told, “You are what you eat.” Turns out, we are when we eat too'

The plan is to eat whatever you want for 8 hours of the day, for example if you wake up at 9 am you will keep it till 5 pm or from 11 am to 7 pm. This means that for the rest of 16 hours you will not eat anything. 

You loose 3 kg in 1 week or 10 kg in 6 weeks. You can keep it for one whole week or just 3-4 days of the week, accordingly to how many kilos you want to loose.

This diet is helping you getting rid of your body fat and it will improve your health.

You can eat whatever you wish in those 8 hours, but of course don,t overreact with non healthy foods. In between meals you can have fruits, nuts, yogurts etc. You can even eat your favorite sweet or drink a glass of wine, because all the calories will be burned.

But after those 8 hours you are permitted to drink only water, coffee or tea, nothing else.

Example of a daily menu:

Breakfast: coffee, tea or a smoothie with fruits and vegetables

Snack: a cereal bar
Lunch: a salad, 2 pieces of pizza and a soup
Snack: an apple
Dinner: meat at your choice with vegetables or salmon with a grilled potato
